The Tamper Evident Carton for
Clinical Trials
TECOBOX, a mechanical tamper evident carton, is the ideal solution for packaging pharmaceutical products for clinical trials and double-blind tests.
Its seal is built into the design of the box and is automatically triggered the first time the box gets closed.When TECOBOX is opened for the first time, the seal gets broken and torn off.
After the seal is removed, the carton can still contain the product and be re-closed while clearly showing that it has been tampered with.

By avoiding labels, gluing and double tapes, TECOBOX makes the packing process leaner, improving efficiency and lowering operating costs.
SUSTAINABILITY
By increasing productivity, TECOBOX reduces energy consumption per unit of output. It also requires no additional, energy-intensive equipment such as gluing or labelling machines.
Its integrated seal is made of recyclable cardboard and allows to avoid plastic labels or polymer-based glues.
SAFETY
TECOBOX offers superior security compared to other solutions: glued seals can be circumvented by heating the cartons and labels can be removed and re-applied without leaving obvious marks.
The cardboard seal of TECOBOX tears open irreversibly, guaranteeing the highest level of security, as required by ISO 21976:2018.
