TECOBOX: EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Charles Darwin's "On the Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection, or the Preservation of Favoured Races in the Struggle for Life" is considered the foundation of evolutionary biology. Groups of organisms of the same species gradually evolve through a process of natural selection as environmental conditions change.
Similarly, over time, the functionalities of pharmaceutical packaging have evolved. They are no longer limited to the transport of the drug but have progressively extended to include information, identification, and safety.
In fact, in recent years, more attention has been given to tamper-evident systems. Initially, these packaging solutions were undifferentiated, ineffective, overly complex, and thus costly. The Tamper Evident Folding Box by IGB marks the origin of a new species. A favored box capable of providing maximum protection to patients' lives and of adapting to any industrial packaging line.
